Address Book is a database where the information related to user's contacts is stored. It includes names,addresses,email addresses,images etc. Along with emails,the users save contacts in their email clients. A contact may contain first name,last name,company name,telephone number,email address,fax number etc. VCF or CSV both are the formats used to store contacts. However,VCF or vCard is the standard format for saving contacts. VCF format stores a single contact entry. Email clients like Thunderbird,Lotus Notes uses CSV format for storing contacts.
